The Nella Beach Experience in Fano (PU) is a beach facility with a bar, restaurant and pizzeria. It is a historic beach club, located in Fossosejore since 1960.
The business was founded by sisters Carmen and Nella: the former, in those years, opened a small kiosk for the sale of drinks and sandwiches, while the latter was in charge of renting beach equipment that occupied a small strip of sand and gravel. They quickly became popular due to their strategic location between Fano and Pesaro, also because the transport lines connecting the hinterland to the coast had a stop right near the establishment.
In the 1970s, thanks to the positioning of the cliffs along the coastline, the surface area of the business expanded, making it possible to increase the quantity of equipment and provide the beach with basic but essential services to offer a pleasant stay to the first tourists. The small kiosk first became a bar and then also a restaurant-pizzeria. The beach was completed with all the services: umbrella and sunbed rentals ensuring maximum privacy, a baby area for children, and many games and activities for older ones.
